After establishing well its footprint in smart devices and televisions, Micromax has forayed into the Laptop category in India and launched the new Micromax Canvas Laptab. The Canvas Laptab is two-in-one device and is targetted at first time users. The Canvas Laptab will be available exclusively on Amazon.in at the special price of Rs.14, 999 from 6th May, 2015.

The Canvas Laptab comes pre-bundled with Windows 8.1 OS and office 365, and will be upgraded to Window 10, when it will become available. This devices can be used as a laptop with the keyboard or as a tablet. The display of the Laptab can be easlily detached to be used as a tablet. The Canvas Laptab has a 10.1-inch WXGA IPS Display, and is powered by a Intel Atom Processor Z3735F (2M Cache, up to 1.83 GHz). It comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB flash memory. It is also equipped with 2 mega-pixel fixed-focus rear and 2 mega-pixel front camera.




The Canvas Laptab has a powerful battery of 7,700 mAh battery , which is claimed to offer 10 hours of usage time. This is very light device and weighs just 1.1 Kilogram.
