Showing off your wares on the E3 show floor is so passé, just ask Bethesda, EA, Ubisoft, Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft. All the big news at E3 tends to happen before the doors even open, and now Square Enix has announced it too is getting in on the action.

The Japanese video game developer and publisher will be hosting an E3 2015 press conference in Downtown LA on June 16th at 9AM PDT/ 5PM BST/ 1AM JST, right before the show starts proper.

Square Enix’s conference will be available to watch live via Twitch and Youtube streams, and we’re expecting a host of game reveals and in-depth looks at the publisher’s upcoming catalogue of titles. This is the first time Square Enix has ever hosted its own E3 conference, usual showcasing at platform holders or on the show floor, so it’s sure to have something big up its sleeves.

Squenix is remaining coy as to what we’ll see there, but we’re sure to get a look at both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Another frontrunner has to be the next Hitman, as well as looks at Final Fantasy XV, Star Ocean V, and Kingdom Hearts III. As for what else, who knows?
