Well the Selfie craze is something that is growing day by day and now the Smartphone company’s looking forward to cash this craze after the HTC and Micromax, Asus too join the Selfie party after launching the Asus Selfie Smartphone with Dual 13MP camera.
Zenfone Selfie phone looks almost identical to the ZenFone 2. You get the same 5.5-inch 1080p LCD (but with tougher Gorilla Glass 4 instead of its predecessor), the same backside volume rocker and the same curved body for a comfortable grip. The less obvious change here is the processor: ASUS has opted for Qualcomm's mid-range, octa-core Snapdragon 615 over the chips from its close buddy, Intel.
The Selfie features a front-facing 13-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash, and comes with a "Beautification" feature that lets you soften facial features, slim your cheeks down and enhance the color of your skin (all in real time, no less). And if the front f/2.2 camera with its 88-degree field of view isn't enough, there's also a panorama mode that extends this to 140 degrees, letting you easily take group pictures.
The smartphone similarly boasts dual 13-megapixel cameras with a Toshiba image sensor. The rear camera features f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and laser autofocus similar to what is on offer on the ZenFone Zoom and Zoom and LG’s flagship smartphones making the best camera phone out there.
Additional; The ZenFone Selfie has an optional Swing attachment that can effectively extend your arm for selfies, and it also makes a handy kickstand. To make selfie-shooting even easier there's an option kickstand that lets you position the phone in portrait mode for easier hands-free snapping.
Colour options include pink, white and blue, but these of course have fashion-names like 'chic pink'. There is no update on pricing and availability but we guess priced will be closed to Rs 15,000 due to mid-range processor.
