Meizu M2 Note launched with physical home button & Micro SD support; Is it Worth it

Meizu has launched its much awaiting Meizu M2 Note after the success of M1 Note. Meizu today finally showed off what the m2 note looks like in the flesh. There’s a lot on the phone that resembles the first gen note from the company, but the question is that is it worth it? Let’s find out

The phablet is built around a 5.5-inch FullHD display, which utilizes a Sharp-made IGZO panel. Meizu claims a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 450 nits of brightness.

The Meizu m2 note is equipped with the updated version to Mediatek's midrange MT6752 chipset. The minor bump in the numeral to MT6753 means support for a wider range of bands for a global 4G coverage. The Cat.4 LTE promises download speeds up to 150Mbps. The grunt of the m2 note comes from the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 1.3GHz processor that is has on board along with 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB and 32GB of internal storage options which can be expanded further via a microSD card (now impressive)

The m2 note comes with a 13MP primary camera which uses a Samsung-made CMOS sensor. It’s housed behind a five-element f/2.2 lens, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. On the front you get a 5MP snapper with a 69° f/2.0 lens.

The body is mostly the same glossy polycarbonate affair, though a more restrained gray version has also appeared. A few design tweaks promise improvements in user interaction. The power button has been moved to the side for easier access and the M2 Note is slightly slimmer than the predecessor at 8.7mm and comes with a physical home button

Other feature are - The dual SIM phone will offer 4G LTE connectivity (FDD- and TD-LTE) with hybrid tray either use the phone in dual SIM mode or in single SIM + microSD. It runs on Android 5.0, overlaid with Meizu’s ’64-bit Flyme OS’ Battery capacity has been marginally lowered, but 3,100mAh versus 3,140mAh would hardly be felt in real life

Meizu M2 Note will be available in 16GB and 32GB variants, which will set you back by Rs 7999 (US$130) Yuan and Rs 9999 (US$160) respectively. After several tax imposed on it in India it will be priced close to Rs 10,000 (16GB) to 12999(32Gb) well in my though it not worth it for a M1 Note user to exchange with M2 Note but New buyers can opt for New M2 Note instead of old one.
