Micromax seems to be on a roll these days. After launching its flagship phone, the company today announced Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone with a clip on 0.4 X wide angle lens that enables users to click selfies, images and videos in the wide-angle mode.
Micromax already offers a device called Canvas Selfie, which is meant for selfie lovers and this one is an add on to that portfolio.
To assist people to have better selfies the phone also comes with Face beauty mode (which we have seen in some of the other Micromax devices as well) that helps them touchup their pictures before uploading them on the social networking sites.
Coming over to the specifications, Canvas Selfie Lens comes with 5-inch HD IPS display. It also offers Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Sporting an 8MP AF rear camera with Largan lens, Sony Sensors & LED flash, and there is a 5MP FF front camera with Largan lens and OV sensors. It comes with a 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor along with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It has 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card.
Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. It comes with 2,800 mAh battery, which the company claims gives 9 hours of talktime and a standby time of 374 hours.
Available in White + Champagne and Moondust Gray colour, the device is priced affordably at Rs 8,299and can be purchased through online and offline stores. As a bundle offer, Vodafone users will get 500MB 3G data free for 2 months with this phone.
